Depths
Near-black with a cold blue-violet to teal fade that surfaces in shadow, in low light, in the moment before something begins. Black is not a color — it's the sum of all colors held so tightly they collapse inward. Depths is dyed to hold that tension. This is the colorway for every protection working, every banishing, every piece made for the waning moon. It will always exist. It will always return. Blood Petal
Deep, deliberate crimson — the red that reads as black in certain light. Not cheerful. Not bright. The color of old wounds and intentional offerings. Roses don't look like we picture them. Blood Petal is dyed on Blue Faced Leicester for a reason: BFL carries a natural lustre that makes saturated color ring differently than merino. This crimson is cross-seasonal — at home at Samhain and Beltane alike, in any working that calls for the color of offering. Dyed on Blue Faced Leicester, which is where the lustre comes from. The red sits differently on this base than it would on merino.
The Reaping
Amber, bronze, dried rust at the edges — with the last trace of green from the summer past. The color of wheat after the threshing floor. It does not glow. It smolders. Lughnasadh is not a celebration. It is a reckoning. The first harvest requires the grain king's death before the grain can be taken — and the thing we call gold at summer's end is steeped in that bargain. The Working
Five colors. Five intentions. The set that starts a witch's ladder, fills a notion pouch, winds around a cord before the knots are tied. The Working contains five mini skeins curated from the current collection — dark, tonal, and variegated alike. Each skein is 20g on a glowing fingering weight: enough for trim, for accent, for the working you haven't named yet. ⚠️ Colors vary by dyelot — each set is unique. Hex
Quiet at arm's length. Loud up close. A hex is a working — that's all the word ever meant. Acid green runs hard against near-black and storm gray, with olive and dull bronze in the shifts between them, and purple surfacing where the darks meet. It's the colorway for the practitioner who knows the difference between a threat and a protection — and doesn't need to explain it. Samhain colorway — limited to this dyelot. Mabon Wine
Mabon is the second harvest, the wine harvest. The fruit comes in at its ripest at the exact moment the light starts losing, and the whole shape of the festival is that both of those are true at once. You gather in, you count what you actually have, and you admit you are heading into the dark half from here. Mabon Wine is a variegated harvest colorway: rose over plum over marigold, with brown running underneath like turned earth showing through a cut field. Dyed in streaks rather than a smooth fade, so the colors interrupt each other the way a harvest field does. Worsted weight, for the things you want finished before the cold sets in. Mabon colorway.
